On the outskirts of UNESCO heritage-listed St-Guilhem-le-Désert, 30 km west of Montpellier and 50 minutes from the coast. This part of the Hérault coastal river unfolds in a wild valley that has remained unchanged for centuries. It is a succession of flatwater sections and small, easy rapids with no weirs, exclusive to Rapido. The water is abundant, good quality and warmer than the sea!
Open to everyone, beginners, experienced and children (ages four/six and up) alike, as long as they are in good physical shape and know how to swim. The canoes and kayaks we provide are new or very recent, unsinkable and self-bailing. They are open, very safe and easily handled by beginners, designed for one to four people.
