The Carré Sainte-Anne is a church built in the 19th century during Montpellier's economic boom and simultaneous rise of the wine trade. Its majestic bell is visible from all over the city of Montpellier.
The Carré Sainte-Anne has now been converted into a cultural centre and contemporary art space. It hosts exhibitions and festivals all year round. The management has always tried to give priority to local contemporary artists (painters, photographers, artists, etc.) by offering them a cultural space dedicated to all forms of art. Its refurbished nave provides 600 m2 of space.
