    Don't miss the next MO.CO. "Museums in Exile." from November 11, 2022 to February 05, 2023!

    ►The MO.CO. will host an exhibition devoted to collections in exile in autumn 2022. Its ambition is to address the key role of cultural goods in the construction of an identity by and for communities in times of conflict. Why and how do citizens decide to create wartime collections, uprooted collections whose symbolic value of national unity and resistance equals artistic value?

    The exhibition will explore the unique history of three singular collections: that of the Museo de la Solidaridad Salvador Allende in Chile; Ars Aevi, the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sarajevo; and the most recent, that brought together by the Association of Modern and Contemporary Art in Palestine, whose collection is currently deposited at the museum of the Institute of the Arab World in Paris.
