Rinpoche, a temple was built in 1987 for the practice of Buddhism by French followers. The then mayor of Montpellier, Georges Frèche, made a valuable contribution to the project.
The temple, of Himalayan-style architecture is entirely made of wood, the interior is adorned with unique and beautiful frescoes in vibrant colors.
These frescoes were entirely made by an authentic Tibetan master in sacred arts. Astonishment is the right word to describe the reaction of those who discover this unique place in Montpellier.
The temple can be visited by appointment made at 06 87 49 84 34
