Concert hall, Performance hall
Located at the back of the Opéra Comédie, the Salle Molière is a homage to the actor and author who spent much of his life in Pézenas.
The Salle Molière has seating for 360.
In this auditorium you’ll also find: a sky – lyres (the wall lamps in the Salle Molière are shaped like lyres. In Greek mythology, the lyre is one of the god Apollo’s attributes. This instrument from the harp family is a symbol of poetry and poetic expression) – acanthus leaves – muses (according to Homer, muses represented artistic inspiration).
The suspended stage-level boxes at either side are a particular feature of this auditorium, which is mainly used for small concerts and recitals.
