Hosted by Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie
Les Arts Florissants continue their exploration of the moving universe of Neapolitan composer Carlo Gesualdo (1566 ? 1613), and join forces with Amala Dianor for a powerful creation, in which a cappella singing blends with the expressive power of the body.
At the heart of the show are the Répons pour la Semaine sainte, recounting the last days of Christ.
Ten performers, singing and dancing, embody this Passion, where voices soar in space while bodies convey the spiritual and physical intensity of the story, between past and present, voice and gesture, belief and humanity.

Thursday January 29 and Friday January 30 at 8pm
