As part of the Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier.
With influences as diverse as Naïssam Jalal, Kenny Wheeler and Denis Badault, the musicians of the Aiga Quartet have fashioned their own acoustic jazz, to which Cécile Fort?s transverse flute adds its distinctive color.
At once poetic and powerful, their eclectic universe, rich in the sensibilities of each member, is built around a collective concept: the search for a true group sound, with a shared desire to distill a lively, expressive music.
For many years, the Festival has offered jazz concerts with students from the Jazz class of the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
This year, these concerts will take place at the Kiosque Bosc, to celebrate the restoration of this bandstand, the former emblematic stage of the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle.
