A decidedly festive and cultural program for all, Montpellier residents, tourists and visitors alike, orchestrated by the Association Internationale Saint-Roch de Montpellier in partnership with the City of Montpellier
We will be welcoming personalities from Italy in particular, including :
- Mr. Daniele Salerno, honorary member of our association and President of the Voguera City Council,
- the mayors of Sarmato and Piacenza are also expected to attend
- Mr. Silvio Barbieri, President of the Friends of Saint Roch of Sarmato ?
- Personalities from Turin
- and for the 1st time Marco Raiteri, who this year was once again named GIANDUJA of "Famija Turinéisa"
Approved by the Ministry of Culture, Gianduja and Giacometta perform for Turin events in Turin and Piedmont, in Italy and around the world. In great demand, they made numerous appearances. Gianduja will be distributing Giandujotti, tricorn-shaped chocolates, to children
Numerous guests, groups and secular brotherhoods will grace us with their presence during the processions, including La Baronnie de Caravètes, Cettarames de Sète?

Processions, parades and shows by groups marching and performing throughout the town?s skyline to liven up the city center
Morning 9:30 am Departure from the Maison des relations internationales (MRI), then Place de la Comédie, Grand-rue, Place Saint-Roch, Rue Saint Guilhem, Rue Foch, Place royale du Peyrou: each group aubades and takes different routes until 12:00 pm
12:00 to 12:30 each group performs on the esplanade; Porte d?eau fountain
Afternoon 4:45 pm Grand parade-cortège through the streets of the town, departing from the MRI esplanade, place de la Comédie, Grand-rue, place Saint-Roch, rue Saint-Guilhem, rue de la Loge, stopping at maison de saint Roch, with aubade by the bandùra, and 2 itineraries (see map)
For all, place de la Comédie and final Fontaine porte d?eau, with civil authorities, foreign delegations, the Association Internationale Saint- Roch de Montpellier, the barony of Caravétes, corporate brotherhoods, the Cettarames de Séte association, the Bandùra group, Paul Canivet and the Brazilian Batucada

Presentation of an exhibition of reproductions of archival documents relating to Saint Roch From Italy will be presented copies of extremely rare documents from the 14th to 18th centuries concerning the life of Saint Roch and his cult: a testimony from a contemporary of Saint Roch from the town of Acquapendente attesting to his cure.
Extracts from the municipal register of Voghera, approved and signed by Gian-Galeazzo Visconti when he closed it in 1391, in which a feast of Saint Roch is mentioned for the first time. Extracts from the Voghera parish archives recording the presence of Saint Roch's body.
And an exhibition of reproductions from Montpellier's Petit Thalamus, which mentions Saint Roch's feasts in Montpellier.
The Petit Thalamus is kept in the archives of the city of Montpellier. Mention of Saint Roch's feasts can be found in the "Chronique romane", a chronological account of most of the events, large and small, that marked the city of Montpellier from the 11th century to 1426
