Our guided tours for groups

1. Street Art, an overview

Diversity in urban artistic creation

Huge mural paintings, bicycles that seem to fly, small mosaics on street corners, dancing faceless figures, giant writing on rooftops, collages and more… But what do all these images mean? Are they tags or graffiti? Vandalism or art?

Learn to look at the city differently as you discover international and local artists Mist, Space Invaders, BMX, SMOLE, AL and ZEST.

2. Street Art Spotlight on the Quays of the Verdanson

An important place for artistic expression

Return to the origins of street art on a tour devoted exclusively to the graffiti on the quays of the Verdanson. The street artists practice there, where their creative talents are unveiled and burst forth before the eyes of those in the know.

From classic writing to geometric figures and shapes, come and discover artists who are not only local but also international. Along the way, you’ll stop to visit with a gallery owner.

3. Port Marianne or the new architecture

A district marked by the great names in architecture and design

As the link between Montpellier and the sea, the Port Marianne district is a combination of futuristic architecture and landscape gardening (with Charpak Park, the Jacques Coeur Pool, the Water Mirror and more).

The greatest names in architecture and design rub shoulders here. A foray into three “haute couture” buildings: City Hall (by Jean Nouvel and François Fontès), RBC Design Center (J. Nouvel) and the Georges Frêche School of Hotel Management (Massimiliano Fuksas).

Two students will then take you behind the scenes at the school’s practice hotel and restaurants.
