Since 1985, every July, the Radio France Occitanie Montpellier festival has been one of the major events in French cultural and musical life. Many prestigious artists have performed there, from Yehudi Menuhin to Juja Wang, Claudio Abbado to William Christie, Evgeny Kissin to Pretty Yende, Feu! Chatterton, not to mention the legendary Mstilav Rostropovich... and so many young talents destined to become masters. An essential stop on the summer's cultural and musical itinerary, the festival is committed to an open, diverse, artistically demanding program focused on youth, transmission, and the future.
