Hello !
Looking for an original, timeless experience? With AstroLudik, I can offer you astronomy-related activities, including telescope observations.
I offer several observation sessions from Montpellier:
- The Moon: thanks to a 1m-high LEGO rocket, relive Neil Armstrong's incredible journey in 1969, from lift-off to return to Earth, including the first steps on the Moon. Then gaze at the Moon through a telescope, with its "seas" and craters.
- Astronomy cocktail: travel even further to observe the immense Jupiter, then beyond the solar system with a magnificent view of the Pleiades (a cluster of very bright stars) and the great Orion nebula.
Several options are available (different telescopes, different durations), so that everyone can admire the sky! For full details of the sessions, visit the AstroLudik website.
Telescope observation is weather-dependent, so sessions may be cancelled if observation is not possible. In this case, a credit note will be generated to allow you to choose another session (good news, I've planned plenty of sessions ;) ).
If you don't want to be cold, make sure you're well covered. Hot drinks will be on sale during the session: coffee, tea, hot chocolate and herbal teas. The perfect way to spend a convivial and original moment.
The activities are open to all ages, but the ideal age is 8-9 to get the most out of the sessions. However, if your child is younger but has a passion for astronomy, he or she may enjoy the activity. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
HOW TO BOOK A SESSION?
Go to AstroLudik.com (link on this page). There you'll find details of all our events, and you'll be able to access the session schedule with days and times, so you can reserve the number of places you'd like.
Price: from 15? per person for Discovery sessions.
We look forward to taking you on a journey into space!
Sylvain
