Textile Printing & Vegetable Inks Workshop

This workshop offers a sensitive and creative immersion into the world of plant-based textile printing.
You'll discover how plants become inks, how gestures shape patterns, and how the same material can produce an infinite number of nuances.
A day of creative and experimental initiation
Led by Fanny Hassler, a set designer with a passion for vegetable dyeing, and Hélène Rallo, teaching artist and founder of Enfants Designers, this workshop invites you to discover the principles of natural dyeing and printing techniques using vegetable inks.
On the program:
Observation and inspiration sketches
Discovery of dye plants in the Jardin des Plantes
Introduction to the historic "Indian" technique
Create your own printing tools (stencils, motifs)
Textile testing and final production on cushion covers and/or t-shirts
A truly creative immersion in nature, art and crafts.
Course of the day
10am: Welcome to the workshop, presentation and first experiments
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Exploration of the Jardin des Plantes (picnic on site)
14h ? 17h : Practice, textile printing, feedback
