Hosted by Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie
Benjamin Millepied?s new creation invites us to plunge into the world of Barbara. Influenced by French chanson since childhood, he draws on this intimate memory to create a dance momentum nourished by the singer?s powerful melodies and chiseled words.
In an uncluttered space bathed in light and immaculate drapes, bodies appear and disappear, embodying the range of emotions that run through Barbara?s work? between nostalgia, passion, sweetness and tragedy. In Du bout des lèvres, Barbara?s songs become the very breath of movement.
Reservations required
Wednesday April 22 at 8pm and Thursday April 23 at 7pm
