Two documentaries to discover:

- Les rafles de 1942: produced by the Archives départementales de l'Hérault
in 1942, 80 years ago, the Vichy regime planned and carried out operations to round up foreign Jews. This documentary presents the archives documenting these roundups.
Running time: 29 minutes

- In the eye of the occupier: directed by Françoise Cros de Fabrique (2022)
This film brings to life the four years of the Occupation through never-before-seen archives: amateur films shot by German soldiers and thousands of letters sent to their loved ones. It's an entirely new look at this period, with astonishing images, devoid of propaganda, that show the soldiers as masters of the country, admiring France and its culture, or hating it? He follows the fate of six German soldiers from the inside, from their arrival in France in 1940 to their liberation in 1944. A point of view that forces us to think about the Second World War in different terms, and to understand the men who occupied the land.
Running time: 60 minutes
