4th conference organized by Les Amis du Jardin des Plantes de Montpellier: "Trees in the city: a mission impossible?

This conference will be led by Julie CHOUVEL and Jérémy DI STÉFANO, landscape consultants at the CAUE*.

Trees in the city, in the singular, can be considered as a condensed form of nature.

Indeed, this living being, both powerful and fragile, acts on its environment and is home to a number of living species.
Although they are part of our urban landscapes, they face an often coercive and hostile environment.

Yet the challenges of climate, health and the erosion of biodiversity demonstrate the need to preserve, enhance and affirm its presence in our cities.

Admission: free (no registration - limited to 250 places)
