This first retrospective to be shown in France introduces the public to the work of one of the most culturally and historically significant German photographers of the first part of the 20th century. Paul Wolff is considered one of the pioneers of the small-format photograph, born of the Leica company's 1929 invention of the eponymous camera, which, thanks to its ease of use, was to change the face of modern and contemporary photography.

This exhibition will bring together, from private and public collections, most of Paul Wolff's editorial and photographic work.
