"Queen of Spades, Queen of Hearts": Musée Parcelle473 hosts a retrospective devoted to the artist Miss.Tic
June 19 - October 12 2025 - Musée Parcelle473
From June 19 to October 12, the Parcelle473 museum in Montpellier is honoring street artist Miss.Tic with an exhibition retracing her career and the legacy she has left to urban art. Some fifty works will be on display. They come from the personal collection of the historic gallery owner and friend of the artist Lélia Mordoch, the private collections of Eric Brugier and Laurent Rigail, founders of the museum, and loans from collectors. "There will be works from the 90s to the 2020s, including some particularly rare English-language pieces," explains Laurent Rigail.
"That's life, it will pass. A pioneer of stencil art, Miss.Tic's style is instantly recognizable: striking female silhouettes accompanied by incisive phrases. Installations, sculptures, paintings and an intimate documentary on the artist? With this exhibition, Parcelle473 invites you to immerse yourself in her world, where each work is in dialogue with the major themes of her work: freedom, femininity and insolence. Hence the exhibition title, "Queen of Spades, Queen of Hearts".
