Visit the Galerie de l'Ancien Courrier for a new exhibition by David Rycroft "L'Hérault flamboyant" October 10 - November 05, 2025
David Rycroft paints from the heart.
He paints from the motif, enjoying the freedom to interpret the landscape directly with his own vibrant colors. He loves to render light, and excels in his depiction of the elusive element of water.
Surveying the landscapes of the Hérault region, David Rycroft gives them an Arcadian air.
His research into the Golden Age has given rise to the new exhibition we are devoting to him this autumn, including a large-format work inspired by Poussin and classical landscape painting: "No ego in Arcadia" (150 x 200 cm), representing primordial harmony
Open Tuesday to Thursday: 2 - 6.30pm
Friday and Saturday: 10am-12.30pm / 2pm-6.30pm
