For its reopening on December 2, the Pavillon Populaire is hosting the "Extrême Hôtel" exhibition, dedicated to the color work of photographer Raymond Depardon. This project follows on from the photographer's recent donation to the Musée Fabre.
Curated by Marie Perennes and Simon Depardon, the exhibition will feature some one hundred photographs from 1978 to 2019, including emblematic series such as Carthagène, Japan Express, Vertical Sud and Beyrouth.
It highlights bustling cities and territories in crisis, as well as more personal, contemplative moments. As well as the exclusive presentation of her latest color series, shot in 2019 in the United States, between Texas and New Mexico.
Tuesday to Sunday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m
