From Saturday 3 to Wednesday 7 January
Lamrim: The condensed method for transforming your mind
Lamrim is a Tibetan term which literally means "the stages of the path". It's a special presentation of all Buddha's teachings, made easy to understand and put into daily practice.
It's a condensed, practical method that integrates all the essential teachings to guide you, step by step, towards inner peace and enlightenment.
At the heart of this practice: the 21 steps
Lamrim reveals all the stages on the path to enlightenment. The path is structured around 21 key meditations (or modules) that show you how to: ?
understand the value of your life (e.g. death and impermanence).
develop your heart (e.g. great compassion).
achieve stable peace (e.g. stable calm).
Your Teacher and the Intensive Format
Sessions are entirely guided by Kadam Olivier Terreault, CMK's principal teacher. A seasoned practitioner, he combines rigor and infectious humor to coach you and make this wisdom applicable to your life.
Schedule Daily (4 sessions) :
times: 10am-11.15am; 11.45am-1pm; 3pm-4.15pm; 4.45pm-6pm.
schedule: preparatory prayers, specific teaching, then guided practice.
lunch break: We eat together at the center (meals not provided, caterers around).
Important logistical note
The term "Retreat" refers to intensive practice in daily sessions. Accommodation is not included. You arrange your own accommodation and meals outside practice hours.
