Don't miss the 14th edition of the European Early Music Days in Occitania from March 18 to 22, 2026!
From March 18 to 22, 2026, the European Early Music Days (JEMA) celebrate spring in Occitania. Concerts, musical tours, workshops and encounters offer all publics the chance to discover early music "outside the walls", in museums, media libraries, craftsmen?s workshops, conservatories and heritage sites in Montpellier, Lignan-sur-Orb and Perpignan.
Traditionally scheduled around March 21 - a symbolic date marking both the start of spring and the anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach?s birth - each year JEMA invites the public to rediscover heritage music in a spirit of sharing, curiosity and openness.
Family workshops, musical tours, lectures and concerts all share the same ambition: to make early music accessible to as many people as possible
