A weekend of events, workshops and tours... with family, friends or on your own, come and discover the remains and history of the ancient city of Lattara.
On Saturday September 20 and Sunday September 21, 2025, from 10am to 6pm, to mark the European Heritage Days, Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole is joining forces with the Acanthe association, which brings together students from the "Valorisation et Médiation des Patrimoines" Master?s degree program at Montpellier?s Paul Valéry University, to help visitors discover the Lattara-Musée Henri Prades archaeological site and its architectural heritage.
All events are free of charge and subject to availability, with registration on the day at the museum.

WORKSHOPS
? The antique counter and sensory discovery [Family public]: Don't miss a stop at the antique counter. You'll find all sorts of drinks and dishes typical of the ancient Mediterranean world. Gallic port in the Mediterranean": come and discover the permanent collection, which includes the latest scientific discoveries made during programmed excavation campaigns on the archaeological site, as well as the results of preventive archaeology digs carried out in the commune of Lattes (La Céreirède, La Cougourlude, Les Hauts de Lattes, relocation of the A9 freeway...).
