The oldest medical school in the Western world opens its doors to you... Meet Rabelais, Nostradamus, François Gigot, Lapeyronie and Glafira Ziegelemann, one of the faculty's very first students.

Learn more about the doctoral defense and its traditions, in front of the bust of Hippocrates.
A visit to the prestigious rooms will give you an insight into the history of medicine in Montpellier and the life of the faculty from the past to the present day.
The tour includes access to the courtyard of the former convent, the Salle du Conseil and/or the Salle des Actes, and the Salle Delmas Orfila Rouvière.

The Anatomy Conservatory is closed for renovation, and the Tekné Makré anatomy rooms are not included in the tour.

The tour is not accessible to people with reduced mobility, under-12s, pregnant women or people allergic to formaldehyde.
Access to Salle des Actes or Salle du Conseil subject to availability.
