Montpellier in solidarity against breast cancer
Every year, Montpellier rallies to the cause with major initiatives such as the Pink October campaign and the Montpellier Reine charity race, scheduled this year for Sunday May 31, 2026.
The theme: Back to the Run - the 80s
Organized by the association "La Montpellier Reine a du c?ur", this new edition invites walkers and runners to a 4.8 km course starting from the Peyrou gardens, accessible to all.
In 2025, the Montpellier Reine attracted 11,000 participants and raised ?150,000 for the fight against breast cancer. Since its inception, over a million euros have been donated to associations such as the Ligue contre le Cancer, the ICM, the MIS and the CHU de Montpellier.
The event will traditionally start from the Jardin du Peyrou.
Here is the schedule for this festive morning:
?09h: Opening of the partner village and collection of last bib numbers
?10:30 am: Official speeches and awareness-raising
?10:45am: Collective warm-up with music to wake up the muscles
?11am: Start of the race
?12pm: Presentation of cheques to beneficiary associations
Online registration
Approximate rates: 20? (adults) and 15? (students and under-18s)
The "Kit": each entry entitles the holder to the famous pink T-shirt, now a collector?s item.
Team challenge: You can register on your own or form a group (company, family, school) to compete for the trophy for the largest team.
