More innate than acquired? From an early age, we are sensitive to the sounds of nature, and you don't need to have crossed a mountain pasture or walked along the seashore to enjoy listening to these landscapes. This project is a condensed version of what drives Jérôme Hoffmann?s creations: in their non-figurative form, in their themes and in the way they listen to our environments.
"Since I?ve been doing creative workshops with young audiences using natural elements, I?ve been able to measure the extent to which the sounds of nature are powerful propellants of reverie. Trying to reach young audiences with this creation is also a way of talking about our relationship with natural elements. It's a relationship that grows richer as we grow up and physically experience nature, but it's a relationship that's already intense from the very first blink of our eyelashes. This innate closeness will be at the heart of this creation Jérôme Hoffmann
Created in 2018 by Jérôme Hoffmann and based in Montpellier, Braquage Sonore & Cie carries out creative work that places listening at the heart of the artistic process. In situ creations, at the crossroads of visual and digital arts, to observe, diagnose and sublimate our relationships to everyday spaces and our spaces of escape.
Running time: 40 min
