On Friday March 27 (6pm), the Médiathèque Théodore Monod welcomes Willy Minec, whose original, large-scale historical re-enactment project is a first.
Through a documentary with superb images, this medieval journey in conditions as close as possible to the time becomes a new form of geographical, anthropological and temporal exploration to question History.
In 2024, Willy Minec undertook an unprecedented experiment: to cover the 270 km of the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert trail in the middle of winter, through the Gévaudan and Languedoc regions, equipped as the pilgrims of the 13th century were.
A journey through time and natural spaces, an immersive documentary adventure that questions history: what was it like to travel in the Middle Ages?
