"Superbemarché 2.
Aliment = Terre : designs et fictions au service de la transformation de nos systèmes alimentaires", is the second exhibition presented by the window in its new space in the Opéra Comédie building.
The exhibition will bring together plastic creations, various forms of graphic design (cards, logos, poster campaigns, etc.) and fiction (documentaries, advertising, cartoons), and will relay social experiments and transformations in our practices and consumption.
In this way, it will evoke most of the major contemporary issues linked to food, both victim and cause of climate change: new geopolitics linked to shortages, food security, preservation of biodiversity, veganism, wastage, food democracy, and so on.
"Superbemarché 2" is part of the "Event 25? Les chemins du vivant?", supported by the M28 association, which contributed to the bid by Montpellier-Sète and its partners to become European Capital of Culture 2028.
The exhibition also echoes the one currently on show at the Musée International des Arts Modestes (MIAM): "Superbemarché", based on collections of citrus fruit wrapping paper.
