LATTES LOISIRS CULTURE celebrates "LE CINEMA" in its own way.
The SEVENTH ART has become an art form in its own right. Over the last century, cinema has gone from being a scientific discovery to being fully integrated into the world of culture. At once a source and an outcome, cinema is a moving ocean in which all aspects of cultural life intersect and recharge.
While cinema's place remains essential to this day, the 21st century may well see it melt into a new cultural universe that is increasingly connected and dematerialized.
Following the success of the first two editions of "VAGUES DE CULTURE", Lattes Loisirs Culture, a major player in Lattois life with 1900 members, decided to group most of its cultural and artistic activities around the theme of 20th century CINEMA, and to create an event open to all in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Open to young and old alike, the aim of the event is to bring these activities to life in the eyes of the general public, to showcase the work of professionals and volunteers, and also, where possible, to invite the public to take part in a wide range of cultural adventures.
On the program:
Theater, reading, writing, games, drawing, painting, graphic arts, local history, quizzes, music, songs and dictations.
At the same time, the Médiathèque de Lattes will be presenting a selection of books, music and films.
