I start the day on the Place de la Comédie – After picking up my City Card (24h, 48, or 72h according to my wishes) at the Tourist Office, I head first to the Musée Fabre, one of the most beautiful museums of France.
I take advantage of the permanent collections from the Middle Ages to the contemporary era, including some works by the famous Occitan painter Pierre Soulages!
I also have the chance to enjoy the current temporary exhibition for free.
Are you more Contemporary Art? Head to MO.CO. Hotel des Collections near the train station for a free exploration of its exciting seasonal exhibitions.
Do you know “Art Brut”? Head to the Musée d’Art Brut in the Beaux-Arts district with thetramway line 2 to discover inspired and moving works (and it’s always free!)
At noon, you should opt for a lunch break at the Sushi Boat not far from Place de la Comédie – Enjoy the delicious sushi, gyozas or yakitoris! and with your City Card you get a discount on the bill.
