“Located in Lattes, just outside Montpellier, Domaine de Causse, which dates back to the 16th century, covers 80 hectares, including 55 hectares of vines.
It borders the Etang du Méjean Natura 200 zone, and the estate is certified High Environmental Value (HVE 3).
The estate produces white, rosé and red Pays d'Oc wines from 12 different grape varieties, grown on a wonderful terroir of rolled pebbles and red clay. These deep soils enable the vines to put down deep roots. These extremely hard pebbles store heat throughout the day and release it to the vines at night. The dry climate and summer sea breezes favor early ripening and well-balanced wines. Domaine de Causse's whites, rosés and reds are synonymous with roundness, elegance, power, freshness and quality...”.
