Located between Anduze and Saint Jean du Gard beneath the Cévenol hills of the National Park, the Trabuc Cave is a major cave system that can be explored with the whole family on an interactive, illuminated, scenographic, and secure trail that brings you closer to authentic nature.
The cave is alive, with water tirelessly leaving its mark on the stone, cascading down draperies to the foot of Lac de Minuit in a spectacle of light and shadow. In this mineral setting, unique in the world, an army of 100,000 soldiers stands guard.
The self-guided audio tour in the off-season, and guided tour in the summer, will transport you into the history and magic of this great natural site labeled “Esprit Parc national des Cévennes” (Spirit of the Cévennes National Park).
New for 2021: sound systems in the rooms for a more immersive experience, and interactive lighting controls to discover the grandiose mineral decor, plunging visitors into an unusual underground world for the duration of their visit. Great fun for young people!
