Classified as a voluntary nature reserve, the Lez à Lunaret nature reserve is an exceptional 20-hectare site, cut by the cliffs and bounded by the Lez. The presence of archaeological sites makes it the ideal tool for telling the story of the Mediterranean forest. A hiking trail crosses the nature reserve from the Rue de Ferran entrance to the Domaine de la Valette. The route can be extended to the Agropolis Museum car park. It allows you to walk along two old mills and to discover a unique ensemble, a witness to a former wine-growing and agricultural estate. You can see some elements of the old spinning mill, the Valette castle (headquarters of the French national parks), an arboretum with about twenty bald cypress trees, an ice house and the remains of an old bard mill.
