After their first film, Des âmes et des ombres (Souls and Shadows), which gave a voice to people living on the streets of Montpellier, the Ziconofages are continuing their documentary approach with a new look at the people who support them: social workers. We discover them in the reality of their profession, often caught between restrictive, dehumanized public policies and people in precarious situations, on the edge of their seats, on the defensive, lost by this abstract, brutal administrative system that they have no control over.
Filmed with a mixed team of people in precarious situations and social workers, based on testimonies from both sides, role-playing and the desire to talk about specific, repetitive moments recounted by both sides.
Followed by a discussion with the film team: social workers and people supported.
