Le Rockstore presents MIKI
Paris 2024, a horse races down the Seine and the revenge of the nerds is organized around a ping-pong table. Miki leaves his room, puts his phone on a car and records a still shot in the back of a Buffalo Grill.
The result is a modern pop hybrid that blends intimate, straightforward storytelling with bold, hard-hitting production. Miki sings, speaks and writes in the first person. With a freedom of tone, she tackles both the light and the serious with distance and self-deprecation. Miki releases her first EP on March 7. She's named it "graou", after the expression she uses when something "not cool but not serious" happens to her. Miki continues to write her story, graou everywhere.
