A woman waits for the man she loves; he comes, but soon she can't see him, even though he's there. Later, the man is with a young girl, but they remain at the threshold, as if afraid of something. They enter but don't see the woman, yet she's there, still waiting. We don't know whether they're imagining or remembering; we're caught in a delicate vacillation between presence and absence, between "it's written" and "it's written".
In a setting of images and voices, we hear waves of existential disarray that speak to each and every one of us, when everything encourages us to forget the intimacy of our silences and our little stories in the omnipresence of the all-too-big and noisy History. We also hear premises, repetitive rhythms, sounds that play, and the unique language of Jon Fosse.
Wednesday April 8, 8pm
Thursday, April 9, 7pm
Friday April 10th 8pm
Running time : 1h30
Thursday April 9, meeting with the artistic team after the show
