Inspired by nature, Andrea Uecker, graphic designer and painter from St. Gallen, questions the eternal passage of time in her artistic work. By integrating plant elements into her work, and working with and in nature, she connects with the elements and her roots. The imprints we see in her canvases are linked to moments in her life: the fern leaves remind her of her North German origins, the tree bark rubbings were made in symbiosis with nature.
