About the artists
The mission of the Addict aux Sciences association is to build bridges between the worlds of research and society. By forging partnerships with scientists, we aim to share the fruits of contemporary research with the general public, promoting curiosity, wonder and access to knowledge.
For the What a Trip! 2025 festival, we are presenting a selection of 21 images from the Montpellier Ressources Imagerie (MRI) microscopy platform, a network of cutting-edge scientific equipment used by biologists in Montpellier.
These images, captured by engineers, technicians, teachers and researchers, reveal the unsuspected beauty of the living world on a microscopic scale. Beyond their scientific interest, they testify to a fascinating visual universe that we are proud and happy to share with you.
