This day highlights the importance of early intervention in the management of early-onset psychological disorders. The aim is to identify early signs and take action before symptoms become entrenched, thus preventing chronicity and psychological disability. An autonomous and flexible professional approach, based on realistic optimism and recovery, becomes essential. The issue of emerging psychoses is attracting growing interest in the scientific community, because of the potential impact of early detection and care.
Beyond traditional psychiatric frameworks, the emergence of roles such as "case manager" is generating enthusiasm and improving the efficiency of care. However, despite the successes of early intervention programs in various countries, local and regional obstacles persist, hindering their deployment. The aim of this event is to highlight practical solutions for overcoming these obstacles, and to emphasize the importance of locally adapted access to care, particularly in Occitanie, where several specialized teams have recently been set up.
Inspired by international models, this approach could offer a more effective and sustainable alternative to traditional hospital models, while mobilizing the energy and commitment of professionals and users alike.
