The story : The victim of a plot, young Edmond Dantès, arrested for a crime he didn't commit, manages to escape from the Château d'If where he has been locked up for fourteen years. Under the identity of the Count of Monte Cristo, he returns to take revenge on those who betrayed him, but will have to face the inner struggles that shape his soul.
