Last year, we left Cyril Chartier-Poyet flirting with painting, or at least many of its components. The shapes were cut out and highlighted with chalk, and he once again adopted one of his favorite and founding maxims: "Again and again, the only intention is to restore a look, to leave a trace, an imprint, and I work at it, intuitively, without direction".
Often, when we abandon ourselves to working on one gesture, another, strange and foreign, appears. Magic or mystery of creation, to each his religion, but here is the thing, following no intention, acrylic and spray on meager frames helping, a just and possible emancipated incarnation, "a painting of little", and therefore priceless.
