MONSIEUR D. Welcome backstage - The history of the workshop
Monsieur D. is above all a family story. A childhood lulled by the noise of a bubbling workshop. The sound and blue flame of a blowtorch, the smell of molten glass, the heat of a furnace at more than 1000°C were the daily life of a childhood punctuated by exhibitions, Christmas markets and Edouard's parents' shops.
Born in an environment where unimportant objects are indispensable - a father who blows glass and a mother who creates jewellery - Edouard naturally turned to creation where he finds a real source of fulfilment both through the encounters that result from it and through the autonomy that comes with this profession.
A Montpellier jewellery designer since 2010 and a craftsman, Edouard makes his jewellery in his workshop located a few minutes from the Place de la Comédie.
