MONSIEUR D. Welcome Behind the Scenes - The Story of the Workshop Monsieur D. is, above all, a family story. A childhood lulled by the sounds of a bustling workshop. The sound and blue flame of a blowtorch, the smell of molten glass, and the heat of a furnace exceeding 1,000°C were the daily realities of a childhood punctuated by exhibitions, Christmas markets, and Edouard’s parents’ shops. Born into a world where seemingly insignificant objects are indispensable—with a father who was a glassblower and a mother who was a jewelry designer—Edouard naturally gravitated toward design, where he finds true fulfillment both through the connections it fosters and the inherent autonomy of the craft. A Montpellier-based jewelry designer since 2010 and a master craftsman, Edouard creates his jewelry in his workshop located just a few minutes from Place de la Comédie.
