From September 10 to 22, 2024, Montpellier will host the Arabesques festival, showcasing a rich and varied program to promote cultural diversity, encourage sharing and forge links with an increasingly large and diverse audience every year.
Created in 2006 by the UNi'SONS association, the Arabesques festival promotes the visibility of Arab artists and fosters intercultural dialogue. It is now the largest festival in Europe devoted to the arts of the Arab world.
The festival offers a multi-disciplinary program combining music, theater, storytelling, cinema, dance, calligraphy and many other disciplines, in order to promote Arab culture, from its traditional artistic expressions to its contemporary forms.
Arabesques has become a not-to-be-missed event, bringing together both emerging artists and “living legends”.
