Grabels has two main sources: the source of the Avy, situated on the right bank of the Mosson and the main source of the Grabels, on the left bank. The first, which has never really been used by man, has a very ancient name, the Avy and a more recent name, the Dragas (the dragon). The first, which has never really been used by man, has a very ancient name, the Avy and a more recent name, the Dragas (the dragon). The source of the Avy or the "gouffre du Dragon" (Dragon's chasm), from which the Avy, a small 200 metre long tributary of the Mosson, emerges. The park around the source of the Avy and along the Mosson is a heavily wooded enjoyable place for a walk, with a recreational site equipped with tables, wooden benches and a fitness trail, and is the starting point for numerous trails and paths.
