Embark on a day-long immersion in the Cévennes region to discover its local products and traditions.
If you’re looking for a truly local experience, this is the perfect choice for you.
The Cévennes region retains a strong and distinctive identity, along with its unique traditions. During this day, you’ll discover the secrets behind the production of local specialties such as sweet onions, chestnuts, honey, and Pélardon cheese.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet passionate producers who will share their expertise with you and invite you to taste their products. You can even bring back souvenirs (or gifts for your loved ones).
We’ll pick you up in Montpellier in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus, with a small group of no more than 8 people.
The itinerary varies depending on the season and the producers’ availability:
- 9:00 a.m.: Departure from Montpellier
- 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Discover the secrets behind the production of chestnuts or sweet onions from the Cévennes
- 12:30 PM–2:00 PM: Lunch featuring local specialties
- 2:30 PM–3:30 PM: Visit to a producer’s workshop (honey or chestnuts)
- 4:00–5:30 p.m.: Visit to a goat farm, meet the farmers and the animals, watch the milking process, and taste pélardons
- 7:00 PM: Arrival in Montpellier.

Minimum number of participants: 4 people. If there are not enough participants, the excursion will be canceled; you will be notified by Terra Immers' 24 hours in advance.
