Embark on a day of immersion in the Cévennes region, discovering its many and varied local products, depending on the season.
If you're looking for a truly local immersion experience, this is the one for you.
The Cévennes region retains a strong, singular identity, with its own unique activities. On this day, you'll discover the secrets behind the production of local products such as sweet onions, chestnuts, honey and pélardon.
You'll have the opportunity to meet passionate producers, who will share their know-how with you and invite you to taste their products. You can even come away with souvenirs (or gifts for your loved ones).
We suggest departing from Montpellier, in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus, with a small group of 8 people maximum.
The program varies according to season and availability of producers:
- 9am Departure from Montpellier
- 10:30am-12:30pm: Discover the secrets of chestnut and Cévennes sweet onion production
- 12h30-14h : Lunch of local specialities
- 2:30 - 3:30 pm: Visit to a producer's workshop (honey or chestnuts)
- 4pm-5.30pm: Visit to a goat farm, meet the breeders and animals, observe milking, taste pélardons
- 7pm: Arrival in Montpellier.
