From July to August, close to the "Vélomagg plage" stop (line 32), Vélomagg’ plage supply helps you to go to the beach by bike and to rent bikes for free during the day. These bikes can carry children aged 2 or less (with a trailer) or babies (with a special seat). There can also be children bikes. You only need to show a valid travelling TaM ticket.

Montpellier centre-town is located 13 kilometers only from the beaches.
To ride to the beaches, it's really easy : Ride along the Lez and through Lattes to Palavas-les-Flots.
Another way is to turn along the Tramway 3 Lines when you are in bassin Jacques Coeur, and then you will get to Carnon.
How to rent a bike in Montpellier?
If you buy a tram ticket near the velomagg beach stop of the line 32, you can rent for free a velomagg bike in Villeneuve-les-Maguelone during summer.
The desk is located near the cultural Center Bérenger de Frédol near the stop "Vélomagg Plage" (located Boulevard des Moures in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone - if you go by bus line 32) and is welcoming you from 9 AM to 7 PM:
- From June 1st to 29th 2019: saturdays and sundays
- From June 30th to September 1st : every day
Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole and the TAM will increase the number of departures with line 32 between the bus stop "Garcia Lorca" and the stop "Vélomagg Plage":
