Bus with Hérault transport Line 631

Direction beaches of Palavas-les-Flots

The 631 bus links the tramway 4 station "Garcia lorca" to the stop "salle Bleue" in Palavas. View the timetable on 631 Montpellier Garcia Lorca/Palavas.

From "salle bleue" stop, there is a bus shuttle from Pays de l'Or Agglomération leading to the other stops of Palavas, from "salle bleue" stop to "Étang de l'or" stop. Read more on:

Bus with Hérault transport Line 606

Direction beaches of Carnon, Grande Motte, Grau du Roi

The line 606 links the tramway 1 stop "Place de France" to Aigues-Mortes, through the seaside.

Bus with TaM line 32

Direction Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone

The 32 line links the tramway 4 stop "Garcia Lorca" to Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone.

Every weekend in June and then every day in July to August, near the "Pilou" stop of line 32, the Vélomagg 'plage service (Vélomagg reception located at the Impasse des Sycomores ) allows you to reach the beach by benefiting free of charge, for the day, from Californian bicycles that can be fitted with a trailer to transport children under 2 years old or a baby seat and mountain bikes for children, on presentation of a validated TaM transport ticket (ticket or subscription card).

With a bike to the beach

Montpellier centre-town is located 13 kilometers only from the beaches.

To ride to the beaches, it's really easy : Ride along the Lez and through Lattes to Palavas-les-Flots.
Another way is to turn along the Tramway 3 Lines when you are in bassin Jacques Coeur, and then you will get to Carnon.

If you buy a tram ticket near the Pilou stop of the line 32, you can rent for free a velomagg bike in Villeneuve-les-Maguelone during summer.

Information Vélomagg 2021

The new season of Vélomagg Plage will begin on Saturday, June 5, 2021!

Reaching the seaside while graciously * benefiting from Californian bikes for the day, it is possible with Vélomagg Plage!

This service allows you to enjoy the charm of the beaches of Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone by bike every summer. Designed for families, it also offers on-site adapted equipment such as trailers to transport children under 2, baby seats and children's mountain bikes.
For reasons of safety and visibility, it is recommended that users wear helmets and ensure that they wear bibs.

A new welcome to borrow your Vélomagg Plage

Every weekend in June and then every day during the months of July and August, users will be welcomed from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Impasse des Sycomores in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, to borrow and return their bikes.

Direct and regular trips with bus line 32

To access the service from Montpellier, from Garcia Lorca station of tram line 4, bus line 32 will provide direct journeys to the Pilou stop.

(*) On presentation of a validated TaM transport ticket (M'Ticket, ticket or subscription card), for adults with an identity document.


It connects the stop of line 3 Pérols Étangs de l'Or to the Grand Travers

The tram ticket purchased from a distributor on the quays works in the shuttle bus with a "Hérault special transport beach shuttle + TAM" rate of € 1.60 per trip.
