The Internationales de la guitare What is it ?

The Festival for Guitar Enthusiasts!

Since its creation, the festival has offered a program of “Big Concerts” in around fifteen municipalities in Montpellier Méditerranée and in the Occitanie region, and promotes an innovative and eclectic musical culture throughout the regional territory.

All musical genres that revolve around the guitar have their place in the program each year: world music, gypsy jazz, flamenco, blues, rock, song, classical.

Also not to be missed alongside the festival is the international violin-making fair held in Toulouse.

Focus on... THE "24H DÉMENTES"

Don’t miss the famous free musical marathon: the “24h démentes”!

A unique and free tour in the Montpellier city center with local artists and major surprises.
A marathon of 10 eclectic concerts from 10 a.m. on Saturday until a finish at Peyrou on Sunday morning, free admission, to make you discover performances by guitarists and regional and national groups in intimate and remarkable places.

Among the places: the Faculty of Medicine, the gardens of Peyrou, the gardens of the MO.CO., the MO.CO. Panacée…
