Why a Ukulele Club? The Montpellier Ukulele Club (UCM'S) is open to everyone (adults only) Whether or not you have any musical background Whether or not you already know how to play the ukulele What are the club’s objectives? - To learn and/or improve your ukulele skills as part of a group - To raise awareness of this little instrument that packs a big punch - To have fun, play and sing with other ukulele enthusiasts - To build social connections - To encourage meetings and exchanges with other clubs in France or abroad - To share musical experiences - To perform for an audience What is the ‘club effect’? It is a collective enthusiasm and a source of social enrichment. The Montpellier Ukulele Club is a friendly space for interaction and sharing. It offers the chance to meet other ukulele players, to progress together in a more human way than via a computer screen or smartphone, to organise evenings and concerts, to develop your skills through coaching sessions or masterclasses, and to take part in festivals. Where and when? At the Maison Pour Tous Marcel Pagnol, Pomponette room, for the 2025–2026 season Mondays from 7pm to 8.30pm for Beginners 1 Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 8pm for Beginners 1 Tuesdays from 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm for Beginners 2 Thursdays from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm for the intermediate level What is the club’s mascot? The UCM’S mascot is the flamingo, and members are known as the ‘Flamingos’. What is the HISPARAMAC-Ukulélé Club de Montpellier association? The HISPARAMAC-Ukulélé Club de Montpellier association is a non-profit organisation under the 1901 law. It brings together several music workshops within the Ukulélé Club de Montpellier (UCM'S), which is open to everyone (adults only). Come and spread your wings with Les Flamingos de Montpellier!
