Le Rockstore presents ZAOUI
Raphaël Faget-Zaoui is an author, composer, performer and musician. After the phenomenal success of Thérapie Taxi (+400,000 albums sold, 800M streams, +350,000 spectators), Raphael launched his solo career under the name Zaoui, and is now the sole master of ultra-efficient pop that's as cheeky as it is intimate.
Zaoui is as close as possible to his fans, and is committed to "writing the soundtrack to their lives".
Indeed, it seems that Zaoui's real talent, in addition to composing highly effective tracks, is that of finely analyzing our norms and habits, and putting them forward in a new light.
Following her debut EP Mauvais Démons (2022), Zaoui unveiled her debut album Pulsations in October 2023, supported by 6 radio singles including "Laisse aller ton corps" and "Stigmate". An instinctive, sensitive record that asserts her artistic identity. The accompanying tour confirms Zaoui's ease on stage and his direct connection with the public, culminating in a final concert at the Olympia.
In 2024, Zaoui signs a fruitful collaboration with Vernis Rouge on his track "Comme des loups" (over 8M streams).
In 2025, Zaoui opens a new chapter and signs an incandescent comeback with "Toxic et Chic" followed by "Xanax mon amour".
Two complementary tracks, between emotional lucidity, self-mockery and immediate pop melodies, which evoke the DNA of Thérapie Taxi, but are rooted in Zaoui's unique identity.
In 2026, Zaoui continues to roll out his next album (due in September 2026) with the release in early April of the single "Love Noir" in feat. with Stéphane. Zaoui is also back in the public eye with several live dates, including a first Paris date on May 20, 2026 at the Cabaret Sauvage.
