Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2:30 pm, 8th conference organized by Les Amis du Jardin des Plantes de Montpellier: "The Art of Gathering" This conference will be hosted by François COUPLAN, Ethnobotanist and writer, and Keiko IMAMURA, Chef and botanist Picking is more than just gathering plants. It's a way of relating to living things. Drawing on his experience of over fifty years in the field and his travels around the world, François Couplan shows how foraging has shaped humanity, and why it remains an essential teaching tool today. From Crete to Japan, this lecture invites us to rediscover an ancestral practice that questions our relationship with nature, food and society. Admission: free (no registration - limited to 250 places)
